How do you even imagine that would work? And now, of course, people start crying that their computers got infected with malware. Which is great - every genius who fell for this obvious phishing scam deserved it. I hope your shitty computer burns and you along with it.

Opinions are a Dangerous thing: Art StylesThis isn't about narking on anyone no, infact this is just my own muses really! You could say this is a journal for ENCOURAGEMENT! *SHINES*
I find sticking to one style restrictive if you are a beginning/moderate artist! (even professionals I might say! though I can't speak for everyone)
Having a distinctive look on how your art is done and produced is understandable and its a desire to appear unique to the point some one can just SEE your work and instantly think 'Oh! that's Ten-days!' or something along the line. However, when you are trying to find who you are and what kind of art you are to produce, I recommend trying, well, a lot of different things! Different styles, mixing styles, different colouring techinque, brushes, tools, shading. Don't feel dependant on what you are already doing and don't feel pressured by people just for trying new things!
Push out of your comfort zone. Can't draw hands? don't avoid it! draw the heck out of them! (how else are you going to learn?)

Eurovision nightGot myself some ice cream and will be making myself compfy on the sofa so I'm ready for the big, glittery, horrible music, camp, pointless politics, drama that is eurovision. It never disappoints me.

Nintendo STEALS Money!Since this has been going around lately, I should probably give my two cents. Basically what it amounts to is that Nintendo has filed Content ID info of their games with YouTube. What this means is that if you upload gameplay video of a Nintendo game, YouTube will automatically monetize that video, put ads on it, a link to where to buy the game, and take the money generated from that video and give it directly to Nintendo. People who do "let's play" videos are, naturally, pissed off because they want to be earning money off their videos, so they're calling Nintendo "thieves" for doing this.
I can see both sides to the story. I can see Nintendo as a corporation wanting to exercise control over their properties. On the other hand, "let's play" videos can often help new gamers find games they otherwise wouldn't have tried.
But here's the thing: Nintendo isn't the first company do this. Both Microsoft and Ubisoft do it already. YouTube has also had a long history of having music videos and

I got a DD!!! :D

I've been very busy at work this week and haven't had time to be on deviantart as much as I'd like. I was so pleasantly surprised to log on and find that I had received my very first DD!

I've been a member of the deviantart community for over 6 years between different accounts and every since I began my experience on this site I have wanted to achieve the "legendary" DD. This is so exciting for me and I'll admit, I'm loving the attention! I just want to take this opportunity to say thank you to all my dear dA friends who have helped me get this far. I appreciate every fave, watch and comment given. Your support and advice has definitely helped me improve and I can't wait to see where I will be this time next year!

As for the ONE negative person who has a problem with my DD: I'm sorry that my image getting a DD upsets you. I am not the one who suggested it, I am just the artist. I agree with you that I have other pieces in my gallery that are probably more qualified, but I am very grateful just the same. I appreciate the fact that someone loved my picture enough to even suggest it. I think it is in poor taste to leave a rude comment about how its not deserved because of how "easy it would be for you to replicate this photo if you had the right equipment." And yes, while this photo doesn't have any "deep meaning" behind it, whoever said it had to? Sometimes art is beautiful because it is simple.
